Adaptation and health drinks – February 2025
11 February 2025, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: Central London
Think tank: IIED

This event hosted by UK think tank IIED is an evening of networking, discussion and socialising for members of the climate adaptation and health community in London.
2025 is shaping up to be an important year in climate adaptation and we look forward to meeting with you in an informal setting to collaborate and connect with new colleagues from across the health and adaptation ecosystems.
This networking event will be held in the Wellcome Collection’s Reading Room. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and vegan and vegetarian canapes will be provided.
About IIED
Building alliances for change is a cornerstone of IIED’s strategic approach to tackling the triple crises of climate change, nature loss and inequality. Adaptation and loss and damage is a big part of the work that IIED does.
We are the host or secretariat of several key relevant initiatives and networks, including the locally led adaptation community of practice, the Climate Change and Development Ministerial process and the Champions Group on Adaptation Finance, and we have contributed to developing the Philanthropy Adaptation & Resilience Collaborative.
We also support the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group in the climate change negotiations and the LDC Initiative for Effective Adaptation and Resilience (LIFE-AR). IIED is also host to the chair’s office of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
About Wellcome Trust
