Think tank: Centre for Cities
This event hosted by UK think tank Centre for Cities looks at how cities are increasingly cooperating at the international level.
From C40 to Eurocities and direct relationships like Greater Manchester’s Memorandum of Understanding with Osaka, cities and their leaders are increasingly forging international relationships.
Join Centre for Cities in partnership with Core Cities UK on World Cities Day 2024 for this online event focusing on city-to-city relationships and how city-level policy cooperation can work internationally. Discussion will cover what cities are able to achieve and how international relationships can work in practice, how the government can support cities, with a particular focus on how cities can contribute to delivering net zero.

Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr OBE – Mayor of Freetown, Sierra Leone and Co-chair of C40 Cities
