Playing the long game: how can the Industrial Strategy succeed?

This event hosted by UK think tank Centre for Cities will discuss how the Industrial Strategy can support different urban areas around the country.

Nearly six months on from the Industrial Strategy Green Paper, join Centre for Cities and expert panellists to take stock of what has changed in 2025 including response to the Green Paper, the external factors shaping the strategy, and the latest on what we can expect from the final White Paper.

Discussion will focus on the concrete policy interventions the Industrial Strategy will need to take to meet the different needs of places around the country, particularly cities outside the Greater South East.
