This event hosted by UK think tank the Centre for Cities will look at what we know about the ‘grey belt’ and how it fits in with planning reform.
Join Centre for Cities and expert panellists for the latest on planning reform, with a specific focus on the grey and green belt land.
This event will look at the changes to the NPPF, how the grey belt is being defined and what land is available to build on, the potential for green belt land release. It will draw on the green belt review and spatial plan experiences of London, Greater Manchester and other cities, and discuss how local authorities and developers are responding to the proposed reforms.
