This event, hosted by UK think tank the Sutton Trust, will explore potential solutions to one of the biggest issues facing the HE sector today.
Fair admissions is one of the key issues facing the HE sector today, in both the short and longer term. The pandemic will continue to affect grading and admissions this year and next, raising serious questions about fairness within and across cohorts. Longer term, the number of university aged students is growing at a quicker rate than the number of places, raising further challenges for addressing inequalities of access to higher education. Our conference aims to bring together some of the most informed and challenging voices and approaches from around the world to shape the ideas, practices and policies to deliver fair admissions in higher education.
We welcome your attendance at what promises to be an insightful and valuable conference bringing together some leading voices in the sector to explore potential solutions to one of the biggest issues facing the HE sector today.
