This event, hosted by UK think tank Resolution Foundation will discuss why the UK’s productivity has been so poor & how to address it during the Covid recovery.

The period between the Global Financial Crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic has been marked by chronically weak productivity across many advanced economies. In the UK that has seen weak pay growth and stagnant living standards. The Covid recovery offers an opportunity to reset this dismal productivity record, but how should policy makers do this?

In this webinar, two of the country’s leading experts on productivity will present their assessment of why the UK’s productivity has been so poor, and how to address it during the Covid recovery.
