Are you interested in making London better for the people who live here?
Centre for London is a charity focused on London’s critical challenges. Perhaps you’ve recently completed an internship within a communications team at another charity or think tank. Or you might have been responsible for overseeing the communications for a campaign or society at university. You might run your own blog or podcast. Whatever your previous work experience, you must have, a keen eye for detail, be an excellent writer, and confident proofreader. You’ll also need to be proactive and be able to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
In this role, you will need to use key communications skills including:
- Editing websites (Using a platform such as WordPress);
- Email marketing (Mailchimp);
- Managing social media accounts (Twitter, Tweetdeck, LinkedIn);
- Media and political monitoring (Cision, DeHavilland).
You don’t need to have previous experience of all of these, but you will be supported to learn how to use them.
This ideally is a full-time role, however, we would be open to applications from people who would like to work part-time.
Full details of the role can be found in the job description. If you meet the criteria in the person specification and are excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
