We are looking for a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our team as an External Affairs Manager. You will be responsible for influencing the Welsh Government policy and legislation to benefit autistic people and their families through direct lobbying and by co-ordinating campaigning activity and promote the National Autistic Society, its services and other activities via the media and other communication channels. You will plan, implement and evaluate PR activities in Wales as part of the overall NAS External Affairs strategy and national strategy, proactively seeking coverage for NAS campaigns, services and fundraising activities.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and leadership skills. You will also have good knowledge of Welsh Government structures and a good knowledge and understanding of the voluntary sector. You will have experience of delivering campaigns and working with politicians and experience of stakeholder management and developing partnerships.
