What’s my personal contribution?

You will be involved in the scoping and execution of a new series of research projects and indices, on topics relating to social inequality, depravation and public policy in Britain.

What are my responsibilities & accountabilities?

You will:

  • Read and record literature and references on topics relevant to new projects
  • Respond to specific research questions
  • Identify and collect detailed data from research papers and other source material
  • Liaise with clients about the projects, including regular updates and presentations
  • Summarise transcripts and interview notes from conversations with relevant experts
  • Support in developing personalised pitch documents

What do I know? Useful knowledge, skills and experience

  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Clear, diligent referencing
  • Experience leading and scoping projects

Desirable

  • Interest in technology, economics, business and other social forces that are shaping the world
  • Data handling and some data visualisation skills
  • Management experience
