Think tank: The King's Fund

This event hosted by UK think tank the King’s Fund discusses how the NHS Federated Data Platform is supporting people and teams across the NHS.

The NHS and its workforce face constant operational challenges – from managing patient flow and theatre capacity to joining up care across different providers. Access to real-time data is essential for staff to be able to make timely, effective decisions when patients need it most.

The NHS Federated Data Platform helps to address these data and co-ordination challenges by breaking down data silos, providing access to real-time operational insights and enabling providers to overcome barriers to joined-up care. With accurate and live information, staff can respond more quickly to emerging challenges, support each other and make better decisions for patients, using AI tools to plan and predict demand, optimise resources and speed up clinical decisions.

At this panel discussion, data analytics experts, NHS leaders and patient advocates will share how they are using the platform’s real-time capabilities to innovate and improve care. Our speakers will share practical examples of how collaboration and access to timely data are helping to improve patient care and address ongoing challenges.
