A fair and equitable transition? Tenants’ experiences of decarbonising social housing

This report from UK think tank PolicyWISE looks at how decarbonising social housing can help to alleviate economic disadvantage, and identifies fair and equitable methods of decarbonised housing.

In this report, The Open University in Wales, PolicyWISE and housing charity Tai Pawb explored the opportunities and difficulties that come with decarbonising social housing. The study identifies that installing renewable energy resources can make a profound difference in spending for individuals in social housing, but also identifies challenges that need to be addressed as these measures are introduced.
