Economic challenges are colliding with a deterioration in the nation’s health. It is vital that the Chancellor takes action to get to grips with these twin economic and health challenges and provides support to those most exposed. Resetting the government’s relationship with the charity sector, drawing on its expertise and encouraging genuine partnership alongside the private sector too, would be a smart move from Jeremy Hunt.
