All think tanks who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply. There is no limit on how many award categories a think tank may apply to; however only one entry per think tank, per award category is permitted. For example, Think Tank X can nominate one publication for the Publication of the Year category.
There is a separate section to complete for each category as well a confirmation of eligibility statement to sign. If you do not wish to apply for a certain category you can opt out of that particular application section. While the form will save your information as you input it we advise saving your answers in a separate document in case of any technical difficulties.
We have included information on the judging criteria and application form in our Awards Guide here.
You will receive confirmation that we have received your application as well as a list of the categories your think tank has entered for to confirm that all have been submitted correctly.
All applications are confidential. The information you share will only be read by the judging panel and by Smart Thinking as administrators of the awards. We will not disclose who has applied for each category apart from any shortlisted, commended or winning entries.
Smart Thinking will use the information provided here for the sole purpose of administering and awarding the Smart Thinking Awards and will never share this information without your permission.
