The Next Generation with Gawain Towler

7 April 2026, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Location: Adam Smith Institute, 23 Great Smith Street, London SW1P 3DJ

Think tank: Adam Smith Institute

At this event hosted by UK think tank the Adam Smith Institute Gawain Taylor shares his insights.

This month, we are thrilled to be joined by Gawain Towler, a titan of British political communications and the strategist who helped reshape the UK’s constitutional landscape.

Gawain has been the man behind the curtain for over two decades. From his early days as the Chief Press Officer for UKIP in Brussels and London (2004–2017) to serving as the Director of Communications for the Brexit Party in 2019, he has lived through the most disruptive era of modern British politics. Having served as Head of Press and now sitting on the Reform UK Party Board, Gawain remains a permanent fixture in the contact books of lobby journalists and broadcasters alike.

Whether you’ve seen him sparring on Sky News or reading his columns in the national press, Gawain is a master of the “insurgent” narrative. He’ll be sharing his insights on the evolution of the Right, the secrets of the Westminster lobby, and what it takes to win when the establishment is against you.

A bit more about these meetings:

At TNGs, we throw our doors open to Westminster’s finest to enjoy a political discussion over a few glasses of (free) wine. Open to parliamentary staffers, journos, SpAds, consultants, students and even the odd civil servant, TNGs are a place to network, chat, relax and always feature great remarks from our guest speaker. Whatever your politics, we just like interesting ideas and we hope you do too. It’s for under-35s, it’s informal and we normally end up at the Marquis of Granby. If we reach capacity with RSVPs, we will add you to our waiting list and let you know if a place becomes available.

Please note this event is exclusively for under-35s.
